Their son, Erik is GM in Peshtigo, their daughter Dixie is their bookkeeper in Peshtigo and Dixie's husband Eric Kinnard is GM at the Green Bay store. Vandervest H-D of Peshtigo awarded Bar & Shield Awards in 2000, 2001, 2003 and again in 2005! In January of 2006, Vandervest Harley-Davidson was awarded the Bronze Bar & Shield Circle of Excellence Award at the winter dealer convention held in Grapevine, Texas. In 2008 they were awarded with the Silver Bar & Shield award and again in 2009 they were awarded the Bronze Bar & Shield award. AND for 2010 Vandervest Harley-Davidson was presented a GOLD BAR & SHIELD AWARD for the customer service. Vandervest Harley-Davidson also won the Dealer Top 100 in motorsports. Vandervest Harley-Davidson earned the awards based upon an evaluation of customer service and satisfaction, motorcycle and related product sales, trained and skilled staff, facilities and other operational measures.
